Job description
You will need to be:-
An experience Nursery Nurse with a minimum Level 3
qualification or equivalent with understanding of EYFS
A lovely individual with a caring nature, possessing leadership
qualities and an excellent communicator high degree of
professionalism and reliability
Passionate about working with young children with previous
childcare experience
Dedicated, committed and happy. Would suit a Nursery Nurse with a
"can do" flexible approach to work, self motivated and
energetic
Able to work as part of a team
- As Nursery Nurse you will be a Key person who is responsible
for building relationships with small groups of children and their
families.
- You will provide high standards of quality within the Nursery
including the environment, resources and experiences offered to
children.
- Observe, support and extend children's learning
- Plan appropriately for children using the Early Years
Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for guidance.
- Ensure that children are kept safe and that staff understand
and when necessary follow safeguarding procedures.
- Ensure that the nutritional needs of the children are met and
the Food Safety Regulations are complied with.
- Work with area SENCOs, EYFS advisors, health professionals and
local Sure Start programmes as appropriate.
- Undertake a shared responsibility for health, safety and
cleanliness throughout the nursery.
- Ensure the safety and well being of all children in your care
and promoting a feeling of security and satisfaction amongst all
parents.
- To ensure the children are cared for in a happy and stimulating
manner.
- To get involved in "hands on " activities.
- To assist with setting up, preparation of room and
activities.
- Contribute effectively to the team maintaining a high level of
communication throughout the whole nursery
- To work in accordance with policies and procedures set out by
nursery.
